Default "Dupe" Guilds

Recently i uncovered some "dupe guilds." These guilds are extremly careful and take big measures to not get caught.

Yesterday i was in a mission with a group and one of them pinged his skill bar:

D epravity
U lcerous Lungs
P arasectic bond
E feeble
S erpents quickness
R end enchantmens
U nholy feast
S uffering

D U P E S R U S

I said weird your skill spell dupes r us. He immediatly pinged me with a recuitment to a guild and alliance dedicated to bots, dupes, hax, etc..
I said no thats lame and againts rules(wish i hadnt) he immediatly deleted character before i could add as freind and report. The guild he was in was [colo] but im almost positive its changed.

These guilds obviously dont spam recruitment messages, they sectretivly get ppl who realize they hidden messages...If you look out you might notice skills bars like this or messages such as D____ U_____ P___ E____(ea. Dancing Under People is Exciting or something) They probly come in many different shapes and forms.

Please look out for them and dont make my mistake, go along with them and then immediatly report.

~Thanks~

Unless you have actual hard evidence this is nothing more then a witch hunt based on one persons 'view'.

I don't understand how their recruitment method is in any way going to stop leaks. At the end of the day if they are recruiting people at all they can't keep their existence a secret, as you yourself have proven. The idea that because a person can construct an acronym from some skills somehow filters him into the category of people that would want to join their guild is just stupid. It slows down the eventual discovery as well as the recruitment rate, so why run the risk at all? This all just seems too stupid to be true. Are you sure you haven't just stumbled upon some huge alliance in-joke or something?

That's pretty hard evidence to me.

Most likely a pack of idiots looking for attention. If someone unearths a hack or exploit, no farking way are they going to start recruiting strangers.

As for the "secret code hidden in the skillbar" and the "vanishing character", was this player perhaps wearing a cloak and dagger? If for whatever reason you thought it was a good idea to recruit strangers to cheat with, why on earth would you use ingame channels in the first place? I can say I'm duping/hacking/creating mutant zombie dolphins of death all I want, it doesn't mean a thing until I do it.

That's not Apharot. Its probably just some kid pulling the OP's chain.

Also, I believe the OP is pulling our leg. Because you CAN report a character even after it has been deleted (since the character name is still linked to the account name for ~48 hours). Also, you CAN have somebody on your friends list when that character that they had been using had been deleted.

That's true enough. But did the OP know that?
